About the HAR Mark
The HAR Mark was created in 1974. According to the HAR Agreement, the Certification Bodies who are signatories to the Agreement consider cables and cords bearing any one of the HARmonisation markings of the other signatories unconditionally as bearing their own approval mark and shall act accordingly. The HAR Mark was established and is operating with the full support of the cable manufacturers located in the CENELEC countries, represented by the European cable manufacturers association EUROPACABLE.
